Why Sneh & Co Exists?

I grew up around fabric and looms, so textiles were never abstract to me. They carried stories, craftsmanship, and the quiet satisfaction of something made well. As I got older, finding everyday clothing became surprisingly difficult. Fast fashion felt disposable.
Many sustainable brands felt expensive, overly serious, or disconnected from how people actually dress.

I wanted something in between.
Clothing that feels calm.
Modern.
Indian.
Intentional.

So I started building Sneh & Co.
Not to reinvent fashion.
Just to make everyday clothing feel like something worth reaching for.

Sneh

In Sanskrit - love, warmth. The quiet feeling of something that is exactly right.
In textile language - the oil that softens. The thing that makes fabric feel like it belongs on your skin.

Both meanings,
deliberately chosen.

The fabric is not
incidental.
It is the product.

Meet SnehWeave
Our first collection is built around SnehWeave - our signature blend of banana fibre and cotton.

Why this blend?
Because it brings together what we value most.
The breathability of natural fibres.
The familiarity of cotton.
A soft hand feel.
Comfort that lasts all day.
No unnecessary complexity.
Just fabric that feels good to wear.

50%
Banana fiber

From waste stems. Breathable, moisture-wicking. Gets softer with every wash.

50%
Cotton

Holds shape. Drapes well. Familiar to wear. Doesn't crease badly in Indian weather.

155
GSM weight

Light enough for Indian summers. Substantial enough to hang and drape like a real garment.

Made for Indian weather

"You don't need heavier clothes.
You need smarter ones."

Spent a summer in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Chennai? You already know. Lightweight, breathable, easy to move in - designed for the weather we actually live in, not the weather brand shoots are styled for.

Why We're
Starting Small

We're intentionally launching with a small first collection.
Before we make hundreds of pieces, we'd rather learn from a community that genuinely cares about thoughtful clothing.
If that's you, we'd love to build this together.
